This evening as I was coming home, I was approaching traffic lights coming from town towards Riverside and the lights were amber. I slowed down & proceeded to stop and as I did I could see a male on my right hand side taking a shortcut through a fence and approaching the lights.

There was a van heading in the opposite direction to me and as the lights turned green I went to move off but the pedestrian walked straight out in front of the van & he saw me & stopped in the road. I pointed to him to cross & gestured towards where the pedestrian man was clearly red, he looked up and turned round and proceeded to laugh at me and walk off!

Saw this approaching the Dunkettle interchange in Cork from the N8 Dublin Road. Countless drivers shoot down the hard shoulder with ghost lines, right out in front of drivers joining the carriageway from the slip road leaving them to slam on their brakes. All to save at most a minute on their journey.

Do they even think at all? Driving in Galway this morning & yesterday morning has to have been the worst I’ve seen in a while.. It just beggars belief that there are people driving on our roads that don’t know how to even do the most basic thing of putting on their lights. This makes me so mad..
