Dangerous Taxi driver- how to report

was driving my daughter and her friends home last night when a Taxi came up fast behind me. I was traveling at 50KPH. He stayed so close to me that at times I could not see his lights. I intentionally slowed down for two reasons;
1. I won’t be bullied into driving over the speed limit, and
2. I feared if he rear ended me, better to do it at a slower speed.

My daughter eventually got his licence plate number. This took along time as he was driving so near.

My question is, Who can/should I complain this type of aggressive dangerous driving to?

Blocking a lane at a roundabout

Driving into Swords this morning, this van was blocking the left-hand lane going onto the Fingallians roundabout causing a slow-down in traffic trying to get onto the roundabout (coming south) which had to go around it. The van didn’t appear to be in any trouble and it’s occupant didn’t seem too bothered by the annoyed motorists around him who were forced to overtake him awkwardly right at the roundabout itself, slowing down traffic by forcing two lanes into one at a junction.

When I was coming back out of Swords a full hour later (at 12.45pm), it was still there, so I took a picture. It had actually moved forward a bit in the picture since I’d first encountered it (from behind).

It’s alright though, it had its hazard lights flashing… that makes everything ok!

There can only be 2 reasons for driving at 60 km/h on a perfectly straight and clear road whilst keeping as far right as anyhow possible without crashing into oncoming traffic.

A: You are either so inbred, senile and doped up that you simply don’t notice other people around you, probably don’t know where you are, what you are doing, where you are going, why you are here, what time it is, where you live and what your name is.

B: You are perfectly aware of any of the above, but get some kind of sadistic pleasure in pulling out on others as they do a perfectly legal 100 km/h and holding them back for as long as possible and as many others as you can possibly achieve in a day.

Either way, anyone not capable of achieving 100 km/h on a perfectly straight road in good weather condition should seriously consider handing in their license. Cars weren’t built for you.

In other countries you would get pulled out of your car and shot, stabbed and/or beaten up, but the Irish are too damn polite (whimpish) on the road.

I am absolutely merciless and if I can traumatise even one of these morons enough so they will never sit behind the wheel of a car again, I can die a happy man.

slip lane stupidity

Saw this approaching the Dunkettle interchange in Cork from the N8 Dublin Road. Countless drivers shoot down the hard shoulder with ghost lines, right out in front of drivers joining the carriageway from the slip road leaving them to slam on their brakes. All to save at most a minute on their journey.

Why are there so many clowns out there that think that they can drive in dense fog with NO lights or stupid, pointless parking lights? Do they even think at all? Driving in Galway this morning & yesterday morning has to have been the worst I’ve seen in a while.. It just beggars belief that there are people driving on our roads that don’t know how to even do the most basic thing of putting on their lights. This makes me so mad..
