I can’t believe this moron— slow driving is what kills on the road. What percentage of accidents is caused by people trying to go about their daily business, but end up passing because some person is dilly dallying in front!!!!!
It maddens me a lot. Can he not see if he abided by the speed limits that he wouldn’t have a car stuck up his arse!! Coming in the Dundalk road around 8.20am from Carrick takes the piss. It takes me 35-40mins to get to Dundalk because of these Sunday drivers!
People have to get from A to B!

Even if you drive at the maximum speed allowed, you still get wankers driving up your arse.

Eh i don’t think 50km that the sunday driver was doing is the speed limit as you and i well know!!! I don’t think you’ve understood what i was saying! If he had been doing 80km when he should have been on that road, he wouldn’t have gotten in the predicament he did!! It was him that was risking the passengers lives! And also please try and tell me, that you haven’t got bothered or pissed off with pensioners, in no hurry on the main roads in rush hour!! Everyone has emotions on the roads because some people got their licenses in a LICKY DIP bag!!!!
Rite ok i can understand that. I just dab the brakes to let them no that. But the sunday driver expexting to get sympathy won’t be getting any off me! Prob retired and tries to hold everyone up with his 50km shit!! Some people do have to go to work! Probably also got his license free in the 50’s outta a lucky dip!!!
Eh i can understand that point alrite. I get it sometimes too. But i still think that lad sudda pulled in or sumting. Its not fair on people that have jobs and are rushing! He is prob retired!!! You can still be a good driver under them sort of pressures! In your driving test you have to deal with the unknown! He should have used his innitative!

I would suggest new test regulations.
1: Everyone gets retested regularly, because just because you where sharp 60 years ago doesn’t mean you’re quite still with it now, and judging by the sheer amount of psychiatric behavior I see every day by doped up drivers in the advanced stages of mental illness I would say there would be quite a lot of insane old drivers off the road
and
2: Can you achieve 100 km/h on a straight clear road on a good day, if not forget driving, it wasn’t meant for you.

What a stupid jerk!
The speed limit is a limit, not a target. It is fools like this, who are convinced that you are safe once you drive within the limit, that are the danger on the roads.
There are many reason fro not always pushing the limit. The comments from many above suggest an intolerance of older drivers, as thiught they all started driving yesterday and have little experience compared to this important and all-knowing idiot.
Maybe they should be put off the road altogether so that this jerk can push the boundaries when he is late for work, endangering every other road user with his driving and with his attitude.
There is no excuse for tailgating under ANY circumstances. Two seconds behind the car in front of you, more in wet, dark or other conditions that are less than perfect. Try it sometime, you might just keep you heart beating a little longer.
Anyone not capable of 100 km/h on a straight, good road is a moron, pure and simple.
