Saw this approaching the Dunkettle interchange in Cork from the N8 Dublin Road. Countless drivers shoot down the hard shoulder with ghost lines, right out in front of drivers joining the carriageway from the slip road leaving them to slam on their brakes. All to save at most a minute on their journey.

And there are hundreds of examples of thoughtlessness, laziness and downright rudeness like this all over the country. Because their mammies never taught them any manners. And the Gards
sit on the hard shoulder stopping people for doing 65 k in a 60 k zone of a 3 lane dual carriageway. Or they sit on their hole in the station drinking tea.
