Thank God Opel have developed the new Astra GTC with the extending windscreen, so those hard to see regulation red lights above may at last be seen. What about the forward thinking Toyota Yaris which has a compact mirror on the <em>drivers</em> sun visor, so you can see the vehicles behind you from an alternate view whilst applying your lippy in traffic. Come on car manufacturers! Why not bring in more fantastic features such as rear parachutes like you see on drag racers. This may resolve the 'sorry guard, I was going to fast to stop at the red light' scenario. Just flip a switch and 'whooooosh!', instand speed reduction. Or hows about magnetic panels to lock young children to the correct safe seated position, instead of actively having to go through the <em>trauma</em> of making sure they have their seatbelts on. Hassle, hassle hassle. I mean......COME ON! A little help here please. It's a travesty!
