Last night I was in my van near the Greenpark Shopping Centre on my way to the Crescent S.C. In front of me was a 97/98 RED 3-Series BMW.. You know who you are you dickhead.. This fool had a DVD playing while driving, I could see this coz my the driving position in my van is higher than a normal car (before anyone asks how I could see it). I thought about calling the Gardai but they wouldn’t react in time. But by god I have your registration and if I see you doing that again I’ll be following you and calling the guards and reporting you…

What I found amazing is that he could multi-task like that. I thought that was a woman thing.
Hey; any chance you remembered what was s/he watching at the time? It might have been a 2-hour program on "Road Safety in Irishland" </sarcasm>
How come its legal to install a DVD player in the front of a car? Insanity.
Are you sure it was a DVD or could it have been a sat nav system telling him where to go? Maybe he was looking at the screen map. Just a idea. regards Gary
They are illegal to have which is a joke as many of them like the one i have is connected to your handbrake and will only play DVD's when the handbrake is up!
DVD players in the front of the car are only legal if the player is fitted with a kill switch when the handbrake is disengaged.
Meaning, if you put down the handbrake the DVD will switch off.
You could be subject to 4 points on your license for dangerous driving and driving without due care and consideration because the prats not paying attention.
sorry miceal, didnt see post soon enough
