This kind of thing goes on all the time in Cork, especially ballyvolane s.c.They had to put railings up to stop people parking on the zebra crossing outside the door. The mind boggles.

People like that should get two tickets, or two clamps at shopping centres. Actually, it should be legal, nay compulsory, to key their car, puncture their tyres and put sugar in their tank.
What I have done on several occasions when someone wasn’t content with taking up several spaces, but had to block me in and then f***ed off to do their shopping for half an hour, leaving me stranded, was to fold in their mirrors, take off their windscreen wipers and carefully placed them on the roof of their car and unscrew the radio arial and place it beside their wipers.
All this while taking care not to do any damage whatsoever to their car.
When confronted by the now almost sensless with anger owner of the “vandalised” car, I simply pointed out that I was showing them the exact same ammount of consideration they displayed towards others.
These people are thick, they do not learn, they will never change.
But bringing them close to a stroke with rage is the best fun one can have with their clothes on.
I don’t care if it’s childish, I don’t care that people will point out that two wrongs don’t make a right, that it won’t make a difference to their future behaviour, it’s the only thing that gets through their thick skulls and if everyone did it and you knew that if you parked like this you’d have to reassemble half yoyr car, people might just think twice in the future.
If no one does anything (as mostly is the case in this country), we have to do something ourselves.

John, remind me never to block you in! hahaha! :-P
I actually took a photo of someone parked in a similar way here in Galway last night. As I say of course they need 2 spaces. 1 for the car the other for their stupidity!

Enjoy laughing at these Gobshites! & there is even an illegally parked squad car there. He had popped into the bank! I always said their wages were too big!

Only a matter of time John before you land yourself in hot water by doing that, but i can understand the reason for doing it. What i would say dont come to cork, as alot of crs would be John modified.

Galway Nutter, are you sure it’s a good idea to display the reg. no.’s in the pictures on your flickr ?

By the way, this is the 100′th article on ShiteDrivers.com :)

    Thanks!

To be totally honest Niall I’ve been really torn about that. I was actually thinking of removing the regs tonight. As you can see with some of my shots they are framed in a way you can’t see the reg plates. You see the way I feel about it is if they are stupid enough to park illegally why not let everyone know who to watch out for. But then you have the legality side of actually displaying the reg as well.
As I said I was seriously thinking of removing them tonight anyway. :D
It just infuriates me so much to see what these fools can get away with!

Tightrope – I tried composing an very simple guide in this comment, but failed. Check out this – it may help, although it’s a bit techie.

Niall – I can try do up a guide for the Help page if you wish. But I’m mad busy (thankfully) next week so I couldn’t have it ready for a few days.
