   all taken in Ennis, Ennistymon and Lahinch. Over a period of time, but representing a fairly typical lot. I could post hundreds of these if I actually went out specifically looking for this sort of thing, these are just casual snaps. And I got more, including a jeep blocking THREE SPACES in Lahinch, can anyone top that?

   oh my God, the merc in the last pic must have got out measuring tape, he is EXACTLY half way in the middle of the 2 spaces. Well done sir

   Ha ha ha! The last one is bloody spectacular. Perfect parking! Oh yes! Someone like that deserves a ticket. It’s not that hard to straighten up. I work in UCHG (Regional Hospital Galway) and there’s limited enough parking as it is and the amount of morons that couldn’t be arsed just straightening up is shocking. I’ve gone on a crusade of leaving angry notes on windscreens… Grrrrr. It’s one of my absolute pet hates

   These are just the amateurs. You should see what happens at schools around 3pm. Also, there is a Texaco station in Ennis on the Lahinch Road where people mistake the pumps for parking pillars. Only today I saw big Mitsubishi 4×4 block something like 3 pumps to go inside and buy his daily chocolate bar, needles to say he wasn’t buying petrol. And he made sure he had a good long chat with the people inside. Then a huge 4×4 with trailer got petrol, got back with lunch and proceeded to eat his lunch while stationary at the pumps! These are just 2 typical, normal examples of what goes on there on a daily basis. This petrol station should be listed as a tourist attraction, because if we told them what was going on there, they’d have to come and see for themselves, cause no one in the developed world would believe what’s going on there. Maybe it’s just me, but I find there is a trend among people to act as if to say “look how cool I am! I don’t give a shit! Being willfully ignorant is great!” And apparently it is.

   Technically these are 2 spaces….someone for pure badness should park there oul banger right up tight against the back bumper and leave the f’er for the rest of the day. Leave the Merc and co up shit creek…he’ll not do that again without thinking about it.
