Nice when you have enough money not to have to bother anymore

I move for new regulation that people who take up two spaces should get two tickets.

Having said that, this kind of behavior is totally the norm and accepted by all in Ennistymon. My theory is that everyone who is deemed to be too much of a risk on the road gets deported to Corofin. And people who are too bad for Corofin get moved to Ennistymon.

The guy on the left is just as bad!. 4 tickets for 3 spaces! Then again, these could be all the motorised vehicles there are in such a one horse town.

It’s not a one horse town!
There are at least 3 horses a few sheep and a donkey there.

“Nice when you have enough money not to have to bother anymore”

But the problem seems to stem from the audi on the left which looks to be late 90′s so it is prob worth less that the Hiace on the right.

That heading leads me to believe you have more of a problem with merc drivers than the parking itself.

And no I dont drive a merc.

I used to have 2 Mercs, W123′s, greates car I’ve ever driven, loved them to bits. (literally in one case).
No, my main problem is definitely the parking, I’ve about a dozen examples of pieces of crap taking up 3 spaces.
But the above Merc driver is not doing the reputation of other Merc drivers any favours.
If I had the money I’d drive a Merc no problem. 5 liter V8.

kevin.. granted the audi is parked awkwardly but the the guy in the merc could have parked beside the van and taken up one space.. at the end of the day neither can park..

If there was a TAXI sign on the roof of the Merc . . . that would explain it!

If that was a taxi it would be parked lenghtways behind 3 cars, in a yellow box, across a pedestrian light and blocking the main through road of the town, they’re just in another league altogether. ;-)

Went back to Ennistymon again recently, found same Merc in same spot, still taking up 2 spaces. Either the guy does this every day out of sheer ignorance and arrogance, or he hasn’t moved his car for several weeks.
