Tomorrow morning, during the “Your Call” programme on Newstalk 106-108FM, there will be a discussion regarding the standards of driving on Irish roads which will feature a chat about this very site. Barring any major problems, I’m due to speak on the programme. All I know is that it’ll be some time between 9am and 10.30am. If you’re interested, do tune in. I’ll try and get a recording of the interview and stick it online at a later date.
… STOP PRESS…. Just got off the phone from London, where Marty Whelan is currently presenting in the 9am-12pm slot (filling in for Gerry Ryan) on RTÉ 2FM and I’ll also be talking to HIM this morning! Let’s see who gets there first!

You were also mentioned this morning on Today FM at about 8.35 am, that’s where I got the link and decided to check it out, it was mentioned that there should be some recognition for good driving as well but in my opinion that’s a whole different website. Well done and keep up the good work.

it will not be a place for people to get seen on as suggested by our radio representatives but rather lads u tube facilitates that not this website..

the random placement of cones and poor night time layout of road works which i myself have nearly lost my life on at maudlins round about due to lanes being shown that were not there when i got there.. at 60km with an articulated truck behind and watched as he started to jack knife but stopped as his ebs was in control.. IM FURIOUS THAT THE GARDAI ALLOW THIS>>>>>>>>>>

Great website, I have always wanted to setup a website like this one. I drive on average 60k K/M a year and nearly every day I see bad driving and to be honest it is getting worse, I have wanted to setup a CCTV camera and post all the bad drivers, one reason way I don’t is that it would take up all of my weekend posting the videos. The Irish government really need to sort this out, we need more training for our drivers and more Garda on the roads, not just at the 30Km/H limits in small towns.
I drive on the M1 and M50 motorways everyday and the level of driving is so bad, somebody please stop all this crazy and wreckful driving.

Man, I’ve been busy … This morning I spoke to Marty Whelan (2FM), Ray D’arcy (Today FM), Brenda Power (Newstalk), Bernie Quinlan (TippFM) and reporters from a few newspapers. I’ll be talking to Simon Marr later today (about 3.15pm) on Phantom FM and will be on Beat 102-103 shortly after 8am tomorrow.

good job on TodayFm this morning – I was actually being harrassed by a SUV while listening to it, and he must have been listening to you as well as I held my mobile up and he pulled back!! RESULT!!
Wasn’t mad about Ray D’arcy’s attitude, suggesting that the site will PROMOTE bad driving and that people will drive badly and photograph or video themselves doing so just to get on the site. That won’t be happening as the site is MODERATED! … naturally
Interest in the site just keeps coming..! There should be an article in tomorrow’s Irish Daily Mirror about the site, I’m on Beat 102-103 first t hing in ithe morning … plus I’ll be on Clare FM at around 11.30am…

D’Arcy is sporadic about replays. He only does podcasts of the ‘best bits’. You can find those on the TodayFM but I doubt your interview will ever be posted – he and his team read bits out of the paper, didn’t view the site, and had their minds set against it before you opened your mouth.
He had decided it was a type of YouTube and wouldn’t be told otherwise. I was disgusted with his attitude.
He seemed to forget that just over a year ago his show used a website to collect submissions from listeners on the topic of road safety.
